At least I do not have to worry about the space saver, as the car comes with it by default in our country. On the other hand, it comes without alarm. :-(
Seems a fair exchange to me rubbish roads but honest people, truth be known we have both!

Tekna CVT 1.6 Magnetic Red - born 4/4/14 P/X 25/10/2015 for £19k with 12,000 on the clock - great car but time to change. No problems whatsoever in those 18 month's.

Comment from th0mps0n : DaveBerlin, cool, thank you. Dealer must by smiling everytime you show up at his door. How many times you've been there already?

th0mps0n, I like to keep in contact with the Dealer on a weekly basis and give him feedback on what is happening. It is not always a one way game, it is important that there is a relationship with the Dealer at all levels as you never know when you will need their help and after all they are OUR contacts - Dave

Good to know you are teaching Nissan dealers something about their models, I seem to think some of these dealers should get involved with forums, they may start to understand how the car works better. When I used the Skoda Yeti forum two dealers regularly got involved with the banter, both taking and giving advice. When will a Nissan Uk dealer step up to the mark?

Funnily enough we have discussed this as an option if nothing by next week but as they are paying I'll give them the opportunity to try <img src="images/smileys/smiley1.gif" align="middle" /> korky2014-05-30 16:38:22

Jon, I have just received my space saver kit from Glyn Hopkins. My car is also a 1.2 Tekna. I have noticed that the wheel wrench they sent is 17 mm but the nuts on the wheels are 23mm. Did you have to buy a 23 mm socket and do you know if the 23mm wheel nuts work with the space saver wheel.

The 'nuts ' on my tekna were actually chromed plastic. there is a little plastic tool to pull them off, to find 17 mm studs beneath.
