Hunter 4 wheel alignment

Hi rather than add to the continental forum thought I'd add my experience and a question.

Went with Avon ZX7's glad to say 8mm from new, anyway got them through Blackcircles through ATS, would have been okish (1 hour to fit) if it wasn't till I got home quickly as the daughters school phoned and she was ill. I just expected them to swap tyres around and place the new tyres on the rears so phoned them up and they said you didn't ask. well back I go with poor daughter in tow to be kept waiting an hour and a half for them to swap them over...
They were a bit arsy and even said to put me off, the tpms would need reprogramming on the ecu....(this I know wasn't true) and I asked about the steering wheel now a bit out of my alignment. Well by then was really glad to get out of there, third time over the last 25 years I've been there I should have learnt my lesson.
Anyway went to Kwik fit as they have a Hunter machine so the diference was night and day. nearly all the settings were within range but for the offside rear toe was out by 15 seconds. Dont think its much. Didnt have to pay as they said ? dealers can use shims?

Is it worth me asking the dealer or show him the printout? I could email this to customer support first?

Anyway looking forward to Blackcircles asking me how it went, suffice to say I'll never go back.

Its free for a check if you then require adjustment then its chargeable. You see the settings screen live as they do it. I would probably do it once a year at max or whether I felt I needed alignment.

Ah right, need to watch out for uneven tyre wear etc
Could save a fair bit on money
