I've just had the front tyres replaced by the dealer as they were below 3mm when I bought the car.

However I was surprised to find when checking the car over yesterday (only replaced on Weds & done less than 100miles since) that they were less than 7mm. I have to confess I immediately thought, 'have they come off the demo with the replacement alloy'. However on further checking it seems that new they are only 6.8mm. I had always thought that all summer tyres were circa 8mm new & some winter/all weathers even more....seems not !
2015 Qashqai 1.6 2wd Dci Tekna Ink Blue with Pano roof...otherwise it's standard spec, so lots of scope for additions.

You can't help but think this is Continentals way of seeing you back there sooner!
