Have a 2013 registered Acenta 1.6 petrol automatic. My Nissan dealer dealer I can tow up to 1800kg , as this is a CVT I am not to sure that they are correct with this figure. Anyone have any definite info on this one ?
A figure of 700kg max was suggested , but I do not have a definitive answer. I have asked Nissan Uk this question but they just passed me back to the dealer for an answer. I have asked the dealer to put this figure in writing but he won't.

Thanks for the info unfortunately the brochures available are for a manual gearbox not the CVT.
Thanks anyway.

If you look at page 19 it shows a table stating the towing weights for ALL the variants.

Many thanks for the image of the brochure . That solves the problem.

Having owned the vehicle since last December , I can now tow my caravan ( which is under the max weight allowed)

The brochure picture is of current J11 models and doesn't show a 1.6 petrol CVT, but the query is for a J10 1.6 model.

The answer appears to be 700 kg according to https://www.leaseyournextcar.com/upload ... 0Model.pdf

You may well be correct, so I stand corrected. My picture does show the xtronic auto trans and not the 1.6cvt?
How confusing is this. Back to the drawing board.

Thanks to everyone who sent in answers, it is very confusing, I think I will have to demand an answer from the Nissan dealer who sol me the car. The ID plate on the drivers door pillar says it is a J10 , the vehicle was first registered in July 2013 and I wonder if changes where made to this model around this time. I have seen figures of 1000 kg and 700 kg max towing weight for vehicles with CVT around the age of this vehicle.
Thanks to all for your suggestions
