Alloy wheel repair

Guys need your thoughts and advice from a couple of those who've been unfortunate enough to have scuffed the Tekna wheels....

So dad has scuffed the wheel...now would you send wheels away and have them diamond cut finished again or would you be happy with a cosmetic repair which apparently gets very close.

Thoughts appreciated...

I was happy with local guy coming out and sorting for £ 40 per wheel. I couldn't see the 'repair' afterwards.From what I understand, you can only diamond cut a few times, so unless it's a real bad scuff I'd try a polish first. You can still get it diamond cut later if needs .
