Key fob not working

Had the QQ 64 plate 1.5 N-tec+ for 2 weeks now, can't fault the drive one bit, find out all the gadgets it's got is great. My only problem so far is the key fob (both of them) sometimes not working, I'm having to use the emergency key to get in which sets the alarm off (as a shift worker 5am alarm for my neighbours is not good) I have just changed the batteries so hopefully that's all it is. Has anyone else had this problem or is it leading to something else. Want to try everything before I go back to the dealer as the car is still under warranty.
