Undertaken my first lengthy trip since purchase and need help with the above.
Set POIs to show petrol stations and car parking. Only some of the former we passed were shown and not one car park. Am I missing something? My RAV 4 even showed roadworks on route, which was very useful, but I can find nothing in this respect.
As for traffic messages, are you supposed to press the button whilst driving and memorise what it says??? Sorry but the RAV had verbal warnings and alternative routes were offered where necessary. Surely the technology has not gone backwards?

Make sure in Settings, you have alerts turned on.

Thank you but not sure of the meaning in your first sentence?
When you say 'alerts' are you referring to traffic messages? If so, how do you turn them 'on'?
I press the button and it lists incidents on route but then the list disappears.
Sorry really struggling with this.

Cut a long story short, press setup on head unit and go through the settings for route options then POI's. Just have a play about with it.

OK. Have done so but will try again. Also read the owners manual carefully.
