AutoExpress Long term test update
Thanks for the link. Interesting that they say Nissan are going to 'upgrade the audio system' Will this mean the return of the 'sub woofer'?The mpg looks about right, I'm just past 1,000 miles and averaging 49.6, mostly urban driving, but it's been steadily heading upwards since day one. Realistically hoping for an average of mid 50's with low 60's on motorway trips. Got a 600 mile + trip to Dorset and back next month so will be keen to see what I get with most of the journey being motorway and dual carriageway.

I think you can be fairly confident that you'll at least get the auto closing mirrors and passenger seat upgrade. The article said the audio upgrade was 'in the pipeline' so it's anybody's guess when they will implement it....I suspect we'll find out when somebody reports on the forum that their new QQ has a sound system that has 'too much bass' The alloygators are doing fine. I checked them the other week after I'd done a long motorway trip at speeds that were, shall we say...a little above the national limit Also we have more than our fair share of potholes, speed bumps etc around here so they been shaken but evidently not stirred! Haven't 'kerbed' them to test them but I've seen ones that have been and they definitely protect the wheel. Hope your delivery date doesn't slip any further but it looks like the longer you wait the more upgrades and tweaks you will get!

Had them done at a fairly local tyre specialist that was listed on the Alloygators home page. £120 fitted. Took 2 hours and the guy said that if they're not 'seated' properly there is a risk of them working loose. Daughter has had them fitted to her VW Golf, she's in Chessington / Hook area and had them done at Surrey Cars, Kingston and paid same price.

I did them with my son-in-law (who had a suitable jack). The first tyre took some time, but the other three were quite quick. I guess about three hours in the end. The next day, I took less care parking kerbside and scuffed the 'gators quite hard. Still, it showed they work well. No sign of them loosening after a few hundred miles. Son-in-law had been thinking of putting them on his company car Golf, didn't, then my daughter kerbed them twice. I think they call that irony.
