Since reading this thread and the QQ being ordered i have bought various cleaning / polishing products , Mainly Maguiers. Have to say very impressed with the results on my other half's mk1 TT , Really looks good after a few hours graft. With that knowledge gained the QQ when it arrives will be getting the full treatment with the microfibre cloths , Some good info here so thanks one and all /

Hi Barry and welcome to the Forum, where did you get that name from have you some German in your Blood
I also tend to use Maguires Stuff now because after chatting with the "Guys & Dolls" in Florida polishing their Show Cars / Bikes & Superboats the product that always popped up was Maguires and it seems to work fine for me. I then got hold of a 36 Pack of Microfibre Clothes 40 x 40 cm for just $15 from Cosco's which I could not refuse. Enjoy your time with the QQ - Dave ?Y?‰

Shorty, you're welcome to practice on my QQ as well Yes I have heard the Meguiars is good stuff, and Autoglym too.

I use Autoglym. Very easy to rub of but if any gets on the rubber parts like other polish it turns the rubber white. Decades ago I had a Vauxhall cavalier ( 1984 ) and at a nissan car warehouse stock, an employee polished my car there ( no charge ) and it looked like see through jelly stuff but made the car look like a bubble mirror effect. He never told me what it was, it was new and secret. :( Made my car look brand new.DarronUK2015-08-28 20:26:40
