So Nissan have announced pricing for the new X-Trail which can be found on the following link
http://m.whatcar.com/car-news/nissan-x- ... 95/1292542
Seems a little expensive when comparing to similar specs on the QQ but yes it's a different car. However you're looking at over £30k for the Tekna.
Looks like a good looking car especially when you compare outgoing versions. However only one engine the 1.6dci....not surprising but I think of have expected to see a more powerful engine in the xtrail
The new X Trail

Just to backup korky's comments here are a few pics of the new X-Trail I downloaded recently - Dave

Donkey, these pics appear to be the 5 Seater but the 7 Seater +2 will also be available which takes the place of the now unobtainable QQ + 2 - Dave

You see I really like the shape and profile of the x-Trail but have to agree with Donkey re the boot...just looks very can finish...
Not sure if it will sell bucket loads but the 7 seat option should've been standard I'm thinking especially as this is the QQ+2 if that makes sense
Crikey if thats only a 5 seater the 7 seater will look like a coachI love the QQ shape just the back end after rear door handles i dont like it shows the Juke DNA and its enhanced in those pics, to stretch it further may be a problem
I doubt it will be any bigger, just lose some of the boot space. I had the X-Trail before the current QQ, it was a good car albeit a bit of a tank and really noisy. I think that the 1.6 we have will be a good match for it anyway. If anything it makes the QQ 4WD a bit of a strange choice to have?
Tekna CVT 1.6 Magnetic Red - born 4/4/14 P/X 25/10/2015 for £19k with 12,000 on the clock - great car but time to change. No problems whatsoever in those 18 month's.

Donkey, korky, PeterL, with reference to your comments on the 5 - 7 seater Rogue pics. I took a look at the spec and the physical dim'ns are exactly the same for both : Wheel Base 106.5" / Ov. Length 182.3" / Width over Mirrors 72.4"
Take a look at these internal pics of the seating 7 seater looks a little tight for some people to squeeze into - no names mentioned , but the seats are adjustable forward and back for entry - Dave
