Tbh I have 16 miles on my car which is still at the dealers. ? Long story but basically its another freinds and familey deal I got and I cant pickup till wed next week. Anyway I chatted to the service manager and he explained that they carried out pdi, ensured that the software was up to date and all sat Nav, connect and everyting was working 100%. In my view thats good service and will mean no "going back to the dealers"
Sorry for the late replies, the wifi in the hospital has been hit and miss so I couldn't get online, I'm at the dealers now waiting to pick up the QQ. I'm nervous for some reason!?
Love the car, it was gleaming there waiting for me. It only had 3 miles on the clock, I drove the long way back to the hospital, can't wait to get out tomorrow and go for a drive.
Mine had 5 miles on the clock .When I was a mechanic the maximum road test distance you could drive was 10 miles.. and this was for fault finding so for a basic test to check brakes, lights etc 4 - 5 miles should be ample.
Parents QQ had 6 miles on the clock I think it was.
I do remember reading/hearing somewhere that dealers are allowed to reset the mileage on brand new cars as long as it doesn't exceed 100miles. So whilst this actual mileage is still registered on the ECU the odometer may show 3miles for example.
