Daewar, you are most likely correct regarding small cars. But Renault produced last year in the 3 Catogories : A = Twingo / B = Clio / C = Megane 1,6 Mio Cars and 60% were Diesels, quite a number. Will this affect Nissan also highly likely ? - Dave

Considering Nissan currently use REnault derv engines in their 'standard class' of cars, then highly likely result in the dropping of derv from some model ranges.
To be honest, VW are doing the same! The derv engine as we know it has its days numbered!
