Gel, you nudged my mind with this post today (Thanks for that) as I wanted to take a look at the QX30 when it was launched in June here so I need to take a look at the Berlin Dealer as there is only one.
The comments though on your attachment are to me not that inspiring as we moved from the Juke because of the restricted Rear Entry and it seems the Front is also not that Roomy with a Low Roof, this to me is a major problem when you are creeping on in age.
Now we are quite happy with the QQ and when looking at the QX30 with the 2,2D 170PS / AWD / Tech Packet / Safety Packet / Panoramic Roof / Met. Paint / Privacy Glass very similiar to the QQ Tekna the price is a whooping €43650 (£37177) at today's Exchange Rate 1Eur = 0,8517GBP. The Premium Tech is another €4570 (£3893) extra.
I think I will still take a look but might buy an E-Bike instead :D - Dave ;)

Why is it that us Europeans always seem to miss out on the bargain prices and Model Differences compared to the US of A. We are offered Vehicles that are manufactured in good old Sunderland for example the QX30 Premium @ 29,490 Pounds & the Premuim Tech @ 33,370 Pounds. In the US of A they are offered the Luxury @ 23,100 Pounds / Luxury AWD / Premium / Premium AWD / Sport @ 29,687 Pounds and the comparison in price difference and Spec is remarkable. I suppose one of the main pluses for the US is the volume / turnover of Vehicles. The QX30S (Sport) looks nice but these QX30's seem not to be available in the US at present - Dave

I have just got back from taking a look at the QX30S here in the US @ Lokey Motor Co.. I asked a few questions and was told the QX30S was assembled in the US - wrong !. After some discussions we found the Sticker "Made in the U.K. Sunderland" / Chassis - Engine Germany. Definitely, although classed as a Sport SUV it is much lower than QQ which is a disadvantage for us "Oldies" :) . General appearance and build quality looked very good and the price quoted was $42,000 (£34,000) for this particular model. Here are a few pics for your interest - Dave ;)
