Luckily only 1 Nissan is over £40,000 unless you spec a 370z.From owning £490 a year tax bracket cars its all relative. Bigger car bigger tax. I still reckon a rise in fuel prices could abolish road tax as using £100,000 car going to 1 show per year for 30 miles shouldn't contribute, should it??????

Just a reminder, if you're ordering a new car, the Vehicle Excise Duty rates will change in the UK from 1st April 2017. This is for new vehicles only. :!:
The new regulations will mean higher tax outgoings for all new cars - except zero emissions ones - in the first year of registration, and a flat rate of £140 thereafter.

Gel, here are a few facts on what we pay and how that figure is achieved and at present I have seen no changes mentioned - Dave ;)

QQ 1,2L Petrol : CO2 = 129 g/km
Costs are calculated as follows €2 for 100cm3 + €2 for every g/km over 95 g/km
So in Total / Year : €2 x 12 (100cm3) + €2 x 34g/km over 95 g/km = 24 + 68 = €92 (£71) this is what we have paid since new 08.14.

Gel, as you have a 1,5Dci which has 99 g/km, it would appear you would be exempt from payments here as it is less than the 100 g/km - Greener Vehicle :)

Attached is a cut & paste with some facts - hope this helps but it looks a lot cheaper than the U.K. :)

Not long after the VW emissions scandal started, the QQ 1.5dci Tekna with 19inch alloys was classified as 103g/CO2/km, now incurring an annual RFL of £30 after the first year. The Tekna with smaller alloys or steel rims remain at 99g/CO3/km and zero RFL in the UK.

Do you know why a 17." 1.2 petrol is more tax than 1.6 petrol?
