Just wondered how people remember their new car registration numbers? Are you one of those lucky people who can instantly recall numbers or codes? I find that I have to work out a 'mnemonic' or make an acronym of the last 3 letters to remind me.One car, some years ago, ended in 'NNK'. That was easy because we spent the money we'd saved for something else on the car, so it was 'Nearly New Kitchen' Our new QQ, which we pick up in 48 hrs is proving more difficult as it ends 'WJL', best we've got so far is 'Wobbly Jelly Legs'. Sure there are better ideas!Anyone got suggestions or want to share how you remember your reg?

I just go to closest qashqai and see if it opens, if it doesn't I move on to the next one. Although I need to keep telling myself that I don't get my qashqai delivered until December.....

I think I must have "one of those memories" too. Ours ends KXT which hardly lends itself to a mnemonic. My main problem is I can't come up with a name for the car, I mean, we all name our cars don't we?? Perhaps the want of a name says as much about the car's efficient absence of character as it does my lack of imagination!

I've just got the registration number of my car, due to be collected on Saturday 23rd August. It is OW14FHK.If I have trouble remembering it I'll just think "what do people say when they find out how long they will have to wait for a new Qashqai?"This is my 200th post, so fitting that it coincides with having just signed my bank account details over to the lease company for this car.
