New Order, Intro, & Accessory Confusion

Hey guys. Just found this forum and spent the last couple of hours lurking in the member gallery.

I ordered my new Qashqai from a Bristol dealer just last week so I still have a good 3-5 weeks left on the ETA but I'm pretty damned excited to say the least. I feel like I got a good deal but then again I've never bought a non-used car before so who knows...

I ended up going with the 1.2 Tekna xtronic with panoramic roof in pearl black. It was a toss up between white, bronze and black. Ended up seeing a bronze qashqai on a day trip a few days before ordering and it looked much lighter than the online pics so that idea went out the window. The wife isn't a fan of the white even though I personally think white with the panoramic roof gives a great contrast. Nonetheless... we both love the black so that's the deal.

Originally was going after the 1.6 dci but got a bit spooked by the recent push to ban diesels around the world. Muh resale value and all that. What are people's thoughts on this?

Anyway... so now I'm sat waiting for updates on the order progress and of course I am spending that time looking at ways to spend more money. Namely by kitting it out with the accessories. Problem is... Nissan and their dealers don't seem to be on the same page when it comes to the accessory packs and I'm a tad confused. Also, I would really like to see some of these on a Qashqai in the flesh (metal?) as the official images don't always tend to be that representative. My dealer doesn't have any fully kitted out cars in stock for me to eye up... so if anyone has a Black Qashqai with the following stuff I'd love to see it.

I think you were wise moving to the petrol vehicle. I think the time for diesels is over.
I used to work for Nissan, and was involved in the engineering of most of the bits you are considering.
For me, the chrome parts work best at enhancing the appearance. Probably 1st on the list should be the front lip finisher, and next the Rear glass finisher. I noted that if you go to the deals page here, some dealer is offering 30% off. Make sure these are the genuine parts as there are some fakes about. At least get your garage to match the price. As you say there is a design pack, but I also could not decipher the parts in it. Dealer may be able to help.

Rib, sorry but a quick Black respray would cost too much so if it helps you here is what the Nissan Parts look like on a White QQ. These are all Nissan OEM Parts as in 2014 there were not so many accessories around from other Suppliers. Now AliExpress etc are in the market and from what I have read the Quality ain't that bad, but the price is even better. From what I can remember the Design Style Pack #KE6004E02C consists of : Front Lip Finisher / Trunk Lower Finisher / Rear Glass Finisher which you have as separate numbers - I could be wrong though.
We had our Cross Over Pack Plates resprayed to match the QQ Color.
