Hi all,

Excited to be here, I'm currently waiting for my 2014 Tekna to be delivered tomorrow!

Look forward to taking part, I may have some stupid questions so please bear with me.

For example, if i walk away from the car with the key in my pocket, will it lock itself ?

Thanks

Craig

If you unlock the car but subsequently don't open a door or boot, the car will auto-lock after a 30 to 60 second period.

I did query the dealer - if I was standing close to the car, say in my kitchen, since I park directly outside, could someone get in and drive off. He demonstrated that the zone of key detection is quite limited so that prevents that.

I've also discovered by trial and error that you can open the rear hatch without hitting the delock button first, as you have to for the doors.

You can set the mirrors to unfold on unlocking the car and vice versa - it's useful to be able to glance at the car and tell by the mirror position whether it's locked or not.

I really, really, really like some of the features on my car :) - the intelligent key being one of them!
