Why put down so much? I've got a 3+23 deal - 3 months deposit up front, then 23 months of payments. So, my deposit was only £855 - use the rest of your 3K for a nice holiday
When I took out the deal with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts (I have no affiliation, just appreciate good value for money and customer service) I declared 12.5k / annum, now doing closer to 25k so will end with approx £1k mileage penalty
I'll have no car to show for it at the end of the 2 years but if I'd have bought a brand new QQ at £25k it probably wouldn't be worth 16 k after 2 years anyway

Not a QQ - TBH I was attracted by all the toys for a low price, and the equipment level is very good. But IMO the build quality just isn't there - there's a lot of road / wind noise, the drivers seat clunks when I go around corners (but the dealer can't find anything wrong), the 1.5 doesn't have enough torque low down, I could go on but I'll be looking at an X-Trail or Hyundai next (whichever has Android Auto built in)
