At long last, the Qashqai has been adapted to U.S. specification. Slotted between the subcompact Juke and the compact Rogue (or X-Trail in the UK), Slated to go on sale in spring 2017, the 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport will be available in six grades: S, SV, and SL in front- and all-wheel-drive guises.

Under the 'hood', there’s only one engine available for Nissan’s newest U.S. product. Coming in the form of a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder with direct injection, the unit is paired as standard with a Xtronic continuously variable transmission. In terms of output, that’ll be 141 hp and 147 lb-ft.

Notable standard features include Bluetooth and Siri Eyes Free voice controls, a SiriusXM satellite radio receiver, a rearview camera, and Nissan’s Hands-Free Text Messaging Assistant. An upgraded infotainment system with app suite and navigation, as well as remote engine start, are among the available options.

To back up Rob's Info here is the official statement from Nissan on the Rogue Sport (European QQ). It looks to me that there are virtually no external changes over our QQ, but have noticed no Panoramic Roof just what looks like a small Opening Sun Roof. Please take a look at the videos and you can see the direct size difference between the Smaller Rogue Sport (QQ) and the existing US Rogue and the Specs - Dave :D

This article might be of interest regarding again the Spec of the new Rogue Sport. Just a few points that caught my eye -Dave :)
1. Color options inc. the Monarch Orange, Nitro Lime etc ......
2. Rear Seating Air Con Vents in Arm Rest ( could be of interest to the Hong Kong Members :) )
3. RES - Remote Engine Start using Intelligent Key TM
4. Sliding "Moon Roof" OK Sun Roof
5. 2.0L DIG 4Cyl 141ps
What appears to be missing is the Rear Hatch Remote / Foot Opening. I thought some of the additions could be carried over onto the Sunderland Line but it looks like the QQ is manufactured in Kyushu, Japan - Perhaps Rob could confirm this.

better spec all round, greater ground clearance and looks like multi-link suspension. I hate it when they test the product prematurely on the European market and elsewhere, before releasing a more rounded and altogether product on the US customers. Gonna have to emigrate to Uncle Sam Land!

gloucester, good spot missed that one, could these Orange Lights be the Side Warning Lights that they have in the US, although before these were on the Sides Front and Rear so I could be wrong. The Indicators are still in the same position as the Euopean Models alongside the DRL's. This Monarch Orange, what a color was released firstly on the 2017 Rogue Update when we were in Florida end of last year - Nice !

gvmdaddy, this Multi-Link Suspension is available in Europe on the AWD & 1,6 DIG-T Model I believe, I could be wrong. The US are going to get S / SV / SL Models with Front 2WD & AWD and it looks like as you mentioned they will get Multi-Link Suspension as a STD. The existing US 2017 Rogue already has this suspension setup as a STD.

Overall not a bad Spec - Thanks for your comments Dave :)

gloucester, you are good :D. Until you really make a comparison you do not really notice the difference - except you :)
Here is the comparison and again most likely down to the US Lighting Laws - Good Spot Dave ;)
