Infiniti Q39

Been looking to replace our aging Octavia 1.38T Estate and today looked at the Infiniti Q30, superb car just slightly longer than the QQ and a great price for such a well spec'd. car. This is a configuration of what her indoors may look like with the 1.6T engine 2 x WD, the brown interior was her choice.

I was advised that a raised model SUV version of the same car will be available from June time, so this may be interesting for me to look at. The QQ is a quality car, but this really raises the level further and again made in Sunderland.

Hi Jon, should it not be Infiniti Q30

That looks a nice choice of car and it is based on some Mercedes Parts under these Sharing Deals with Renault / Nissan, should be a nice ride for the Dogs. The SUV QX30 Version also looks nice and our friend in Florida bought the Fully Loaded QX60 which is again nice but a comlete other animal - Dave

Yes Dave it should be the Q30, that's what you get trying to send stuff using a mobile phone, it also put the Octavia engine as 1.38T when it should be 1.8T.

We have a dealer here in hull, so servicing should not be a problem. They do not have any petrol models in yet, but will contact us for a demo as soon as possible. I think Gill will go for this car as she wants something smaller than the Octavia.

Thanks for the Q30 SUV details, I am interested in this model and I was advised my QQ should fetch £16500 if traded in mid-summer. Although I am tempted to keep the QQ until the warranty runs out in March 2017 as it has been such a good 'un.

Jon, thanks for this information I may well be interested in the exhaust part as this has been on my mind for some time but constructing one ain't that easy even in cardboard to make a master - but this could be it !. The other part I do not think we need, but it does now go to show that QQ J11 parts are beginning to get on the market although many from the PRC, which is not all negative.
When you start talking Trade In Prices, it is then that you start to realise how much you have really invested in your QQ over the original Nissan price (which normally you never really get back) but what the hell if it is what you like and want then go for it - Regards Dave

Jon, this might interest you as there is a writeup / many photos and Videos which you could take a look at. In Berlin there is at present only one Infiniti Dealer listed and Berlin is not that small, but only a Grand total of 6 in all Germany. The Infiniti range of product was initially for the USA (quite a selection) but is now entering the European Market, so I suppose they have to establish themselves as the range available will not be that large at first and also not many around which should make them unique - Dave

Thanks Dave, very useful information from you as usual, and the QX30 model when it comes out later this year looks like a perfect replacement when my car reaches three years old, my wife hopes to have a drive in the Q30 1.6T petrol when the dealer has it in within the next 2 weeks, it should give a good indication of what the QX model will be like...Jon
