I've noticed that every now and then my new QQ decides to make a nice squeaking noise from the steering wheel.I'm hoping this is just because it's very new...if it goes on for much longer I'm afraid the WD40 will be coming out.Mark

Hi Mark i seem to recall having a squeak on one of my cars, i was a long time ago and my memory is not as good as it use to be but it could possibly be the fan belt on the server slipping, the way to check is put car on full lock check engine bay for the noise, falling that its a mouse. hope this helps.

It's 100% from the steering column. It's a rubber/plastic on rubber/plastic sound and feel.

When it happens even if you are stationary you can wiggle the steering wheel back and forth a little and hear it.
