I've only done a few miles but reset everything after delivery. Around town I achieved 52mpg. In the tests everything is switched off. No heating, lights etc. Anything that drains power is off and it's driven at like 56 miles an hour or something. So never a real world figure. But, as all manufacturers do the same at least you can compare..

Will try and get some pics over this weekend.

Will post any specific/significant comments in their own threads. All good so far.

Although, make make parking assist work but not for parallel parking. Yet! Lol

I firmly believe that cars need time to settle down and from experience in previous cars that I have had, the MPG has increased steadily until the car has done over 10,000 miles

My last Qashqai was a 1.5dci Acenta 09 plate and by the time it had settled down and it had covered over 10,000 miles we were getting exceptional mpg out of it. We toured Southern Ireland in it and with 4 adults and loaded to the rafters with luggage we were consistently achieving 60mpg and that was on the pre-facelift model.
This new one should be far better than that when it has settled.

Seen my first on the road, actually being used, not on display in the showroom 2014 Qaashqai this morning... The bad news is it wasn't mine But hey, what a machine. It was in Ink Blue and it looked really good. It had a slightly Cadbury's purple hint to it in the partial morning light but it was a stunning looking car.
Really?

Hi kramrolyat70,

Looking forward get mine in late March! Trading in my 6.5 year old Audi A3 S line Sportback!

Never had a Nissan before. Hope I'm making a good choice!

I've gone for a 1.5dci Tekna in black. Quite fancy gun metal now but too late to change now without causing a delay.

Did you get a good deal on the mats? I'm paying £149 for mats and a boot liner which seems a bit steep!

Cheers

Hi Coolio,I've never had a Nissan before either, last few cars have been Mercs and BMW's. The interior I'd suggest matches the usual German suspects and the spec is amazing value for money.I'm going for the luxury mats (so I'm told lol), not the boot liner though which I suspect would be expensive. I'm paying £44.00....RRP is £55.00.Emailed Steve through the details in this forum under discounts. He replied really quickly and has put them aside for me.Mark

Mark

Do you know what he charges for P&P as it would be a bit of a jaunt to fetch them from Staffordshire
