Hi All,

I have just ordered new2014
Qashqai Tekna 1.2 on lease deal. Personally I think it is much better option
than own it but that's my personal opinion.

I must say I am very
pleased with quality of finish in those cars and other tech gadgets found on
Tekna model are easily comparable to high spec premium cars. And all that for a
fraction of price. Happy days!!!

I got to ask some questions here as my Nissan
dealer was very unhelpful and slow in response.

- - I got 3
year lease; what is the service intervals for this car and how much that cost?

- - I am
getting mixed messages about voice control function in conjunction with
NissanConnect. Is there any function like that exists on Tekna. I can't find
anything on Nissan website.

- - What sorts
of apps on NissanConnect are available in UK; I have heard something about iTunes
compatibility.

- - Can you
open boot remotely?

The car is due to
arrive end of March. Funny enough it change from late February just a week ago.
Guess too many orders. Thanks all

From what I can see the servicing intervals areServicing period

18,600 miles (diesel models)
12,400 miles (petrol models)Cost wise I think, and I emphasis think, there are different options. I've contacted my local dealer via their website. Under servicing they discuss various plans that are available and you can complete a form asking for more information.I'm leasing my 1.5DCi Tekna also so we'd be in the same boat.Hope that helps a little.

Had a call from my main dealer. They are saying service costs are not available yet. However, they calim current QQ's first service is £260, second is £340, third £440.Seems a bit steep to me considering my current car a Mercedes C250 was only £210 for a first service..may be worth shopping around if you have a couple of dealers near by.

Cool...thanks for the other info.I guess as when any brand new car that's just been launched it will take time to collect all the bits and pieces of info.

With the service intervals sure I saw on Nissan website that you can buy a service pack for the QQ. £299 for first 3 services (annual) which if I can find link to is a bargain when looking at the prices stated above from kramrolyat.

That would be a bargain. I was trying to get that info from my dealer but they seemed very unsure of what the situation was. Simply offered me monthly payments to ease the burden. I did point out that wasn't the issue...The website implies other options like the one you described..they had no idea.
