Hello everyone, has anyone had the Genuine Qashqai J12 Dash Cam for E-power fitted part no. B84526UROA? I would be grateful for any feedback on this product such as its functionality etc as trying to get info from Nissan or the dealership seems impossible!

Thanks for replying, it so difficult to get any answers! I am getting one installed by the dealer on Thursday and just wanted to know if it is fixed in the centre of the windscreen directly behind the rear view mirror. Also do they wire it into the socket that is on the back of the mirror or do they remove all the head lining and door pillar covers to gain access to the fuse box behind the glove box.
I was also curious to know whether to camera becomes live even when parked and ignition off so that it picks up anyone who bumps the car when we’re away from the car.
Lastly do you rate the camera

It's fixed just to the left (nearside) of the centre mirror. I'm afraid I don't know where they put the wiring, it's not visible.
It doesn't have an always-on parking mode, but it does have an impact sensor that will initiate recording for 1 minute if your car is hit while parked provided the car battery has good voltage. Otherwise it turns itself on with the ignition and off a few minutes after you turn the ignition off.
It comes with a 600 page paper instruction manual although only the first 22 pages are English.
It records in 1080p and takes a microSD card. There is an app for phones as well to connect with but I haven't bothered. I like how I can just forget about it until it's needed, although it does announce "camera on" and "camera off" every time so you know it's working.

Mine came with one fitted ,seems to work ok but only tried it a couple of times. Had a bit of trouble fitting the sd card and can barely hear the “on” announcement but can’t find a way to increase the volume

Hi all just had a B84526UROA Genuine Nissan Dash Cam fitted to my Qashqai E-power which is fine but it when I try to pair to my iPhone, I keep getting the message ‘no internet connection’ Has anyone got any experience or ideas what’s wrong?
