Removing mirror glass and mirror covers

Searched about but no real answers at all.
Does the glass just pull out and un clip? And the mirror caps should come out easier when mirror glass is removed?

Yes. You need to gently pull the bottom of mirror away. My bf fitted me some chrome mirrors last week :)

He said he used a plastic ice scraper and gently prize it off
