Spare wheel

This may sound silly, but on i dont have a spare wheel just a repair kit and foam spray thingy,But....Can i get a 16" spare? or doe's it have to be a 18" one ?Thank's in advance

Isabelle, just some advice please try to use the "Search" Facility on the Forum before you ask your questions. Do not take this as a "Negative" comment it is NOT most members here will try to help and assist you, but it will help you more finding other Facts on the Forum. The reason is that this Forum is full of Facts and some are already repeats but too save more repeats of the same Information it is better firstly to "Search". Thanks a million fit trying to help me, non of them posts say yes or no to a smaller space saver wheel (16") fitting my 18" car

I would say on the internet Glyn Hopkins but safer if you go to the nissan dealers and they should have a print out of the spare wheel, spacers, wheel brace and tools. They are not all combined they are all separate order numbers. It is a 16" spare wheel but the stupid thing about it is you have the buy the wheel and tyre separate and have the tyre fitted either by nissan or tyre garage.I am surprised you didn't know it did not have a spare. Let yourself be lucky, you want to go to Citroen with the ds 5 no where to put it on the latest model.

I just want it for peace or mind, plus I won't be able to use the gunk and compressor on my own, I'd call for help.

But if I had a space saver will save a tyre company saying they contain a wheel that's had the gunk pumped in.

I've seen a 16" space saver set on eBay for 200 pounds, would that be OK to put me on?

The thing is to remember, there is always about 1% chance you might to somewhere where there are no mobile mask around and you cannot call the AA or anyone so it is always good to have a spare wheel and know how to change it yourself. I went to Ribblehead Viaduct in north yorkshire and no mobile mask around, signal was dead on mobile phone. So I depend on a spare wheel.

It cost around £316 for the full set. If you buy without the spacers it may move about a bit.

So your car has 18" alloys and space saver is 16"?

I've seen a while set on eBay for 150

mine is 19" wheels lol yes I know quite big against 16" spareI have done my homework, it will be okay to get me to a garage.
