Qashqai +2 360 wing mirror knocked off
Hi everyone. Not a happy bunny at the moment, driving along a dark country lane in bad weather and someone has just driven past me at speed and smashed the driver's door mirror. I pulled into a lay by and examined it best I could.The back of the casing has come completely off but the rest seems to be okay. The glass part of the mirror was hanging out by the wires. Have managed to 'slot' mirror back in but it isn't secure and is cracked.Thankfully the electrics to fold the casing in and out still works but have not tried the electrics to move the actual mirror.Was hoping someone might be able to point me in the direction of a replacement casing and mirror without having to change the whole thing? 360 is fairly new so don't hold much hope of getting 2nd hand one but would rather do this as only recently paid £500 for new gear box for our trusty old Honda. This is the last thing we need for our shiny new car .....
