Re: Tyres
General rule of thumb is, same brand/model of tyre on the same axel other wise with odd tyres on the same axel it can harm the handling, so as you have Goodyear on the front I would replace it with another Goodyear. I had it on my van a few years ago, matching tyres previous to a blowout, van was le...

Re: Best Diesel Fuel
1 tank shouldn't hurt, no doubt someone else on here will have a completely different opinion and disagree with what I say, but this is what I found and what works best for me!

Re: Best Diesel Fuel
Shell or BP fuel are just as good as each other, DONT use supermarket fuels its crap, I once drove down to Cornwall in the car on BP and drove round for the week, filled up at Morrisons on when leaving Cornwall and just about got home on a full tank! Since then and that was nearly 10 years ago I've ...

Re: Rattling from speedo and rev meter surround
I had this, it was the air ducting rat telling behind that vent, the vent will pop up if you pry it up from one end and work along and pull it up, I ended up padding under there with stick back foam strips and from under the passenger footwell and putting my hand up behind the dash where the ducting...

Re: Steering wheel -> creaking sound
Mine is still under warranty, but have lost all faith in the dealers and have asked them about my problem, but all I get is that my chassis number isn't in the technical bulitin range so they can't fit the new modified dampener/top mount covers/rubber boot. So to be honest I've got bigger things to ...

Re: Steering wheel -> creaking sound
I don't want them messing with the suspension as I've only just got it going in a straight line! And I know it won't be right after! So my fix has stopped it! Used to get the problem on both sides of the car on the top mounts, so I only did the o/s to prove a theory and it worked and the n/a side is...
