Time to say goodbye!

Well after 3 1/2 years of ownership of our 2014 QQ Tekna it’s finally gone! It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride owning a QQ! It has its good points and features to the car but as a whole I don’t think I’d own another one again. As most early owners of the J11 will say we were all guinea pigs. I’ve h...

Re: Nissan 2012 1.5 dci Cambelt interval

If it was me I would get it changed quick time, 5 years is the limit in my eyes! Think it's only a Rubber & nylon belt, rubber deteriorates over time, I would say to get it done! 5 years is the limit anyway by Nissan! It's not worth wrecking your engine for a belt! Get the water pump and tension...

Re: Parking sensor button

Dealers are correct, when you turn them off using that button it's only a temporary thing, they will stay off until you come to a stop then re activate. The only way to turn them off is to go into the main menu in the centre screen between the dials and go into parking aids and turn off either front...

Re: Handbrake issue? Orange ! light and flashing P light.

Mine continued to fault the same, in the end I had a new parking brake ecu, that was 12 months ago no faults since! The ecu was made by TRW. If that helps??

Re: Qashqai clutch failure

I've never owned a car long enough for a clutch to fail, I always buy new cars and typically keep them from 3-4 years, I also have owned fiat, seat, Kia, VW, Mercedes and ford. Now we have had our 2014 QQ Tekna for 3 1/2 years and I've just had my fourth yes fourth clutch and dual mass flywheel fitt...

Possibly rear wheel bearings, they tend to hum/drone. Hope this narrows it down a little!

Re: Handbrake issue? Orange ! light and flashing P light.

Had the same fault, I'm listed on this thread from last year, came on a few more times, eventually asked the dealers and a new brake control unit was fitted and fingers crossed not come on again and that was in march! Think it is abut of a known problem?!?! Hope this helps???

Re: Tyres fitted from factory

Interestingly the sticker inside the drivers door says for the 19" rim 92w and 96w. Can you please let me know what Bridgestone tyre you have fitted, what spec they are also? Cheers
