Re: Magnetic Red - Update - Protection detail

Dave, the applicator I am using in the last picture comes with the Gyeon coating kits. It is mostly hard foam so it is easy to hold and the bottom half a cm is soft to follow any contours. If you look closely I am holding a piece of suede also, as this is the part the coating is applied with and can...

Re: Magnetic Red - Update - Protection detail

Lovely job, but don't believe the hype about scratch protection. Half a micron wont hide or prevent scratches that would be visible. My previous car had been repainted along one side before I bought it, the lacquer was unbelievably soft. So soft in fact, that even though I polished the car just aft...

Preparing for the new arrival

So we've been given a date to collect our new QQ on the 17th May :D :D Been driving around for the last couple of weeks in a 1.6 diesel manual Tekna, which is pretty much total opposite of the 1.2 Dig-T Xtronic Tekna we are waiting for, but still a great car. So I have now collected a few detailing ...

Re: Hood Strut Kit - Now that could affect your warranty!

That is not the first time I have heard that kind of statement so it does not surprise me. Some dealers will overlook these things whereas others will probably be 'stroppy' as you have made changes to the original equipment and then expect them to rectify a fault that you may have caused by fitting ...

Re: Supagard

Hey jeffers, I can't really find much on Supagard, but normally when looking at the better paint coatings, there are 2 main types - Ceramic and Glass. Ceramic coatings are usually the domain of professionals as they can be difficult to apply, so obviously cost more as you are paying the pro to do th...
