There is no requirement to reset or recalibrate. Yo can do so however in severe temperature changes if needed. They are not intended to be highly accurate, usually to a tolerance of +/- 1 to 2psi. They are more intended to alert you to a loss of pressure as opposed to the actual set pressure. But a...

The iphone I believe connects through a cable - normal phones connect via bluetooth. Forget the buttons on the wheel and just use the "OK Google" command - if your phone is charging it should cut in even if the screen is off without pressing anything

The way they test it on tracks is apparently using balloons or a sheet. A friend of mine did a VW track day, and they demonstrated this and drove at a pile of balloons full speed and it stopped every time. That's why my next car will have Android Auto built in - I think Nissan are missing a trick here because I've seen no mention of it on the face-lift version either
