liquid nails ..no good on a lease car got to go back as supplied ....I only use it for a bike rack so no problem and no MOT now

Thanks for that ...there are holes in the bottom of the chasis rails so I just drilled through into the boot and put two large plates on the inside ...and of course you have to take the valance off twice if you do it the proper way ..once when you fit it and once to take it off when you return it to...

Tow bar wiring.
Having removed the towbar from my Mk1 QQ and fitted it to the Mk 2 QQ both without removing the bumper I wonder if there is a socket hidden somewhere to connect the 7 pin socket to....It was easy on the Mk1 as the wiring was on the Left of the boot but not so easy on the Mk 2

When you are stationary the MPG gaugge should read zero my consumption over 6000 miles is 54.8 with a max on one trip at 75.5 mpgBig right foot and change up sooner.

3 years old ...?? MIlage ??? did you check if it had been changed ?? If it had not your problem if it had been done then you might get some recompense from the garage that did it but I doubt it ..Bent valves at the least ..head off and inspect etc ........

you can get a chrome cover cheap ..so get in there with the epoxy and screws or whatever and clip on the chrome trim..

Daughter auto got the problem ...stuck 3 bits of credit card 10mm x 7mm in the little black "tray" under the unlock button ..this in effect holds the lock button down.Cannot see any immediate problem or consequence of this ...still needs to be in P and foot on brake to start /will not go i...

Well I have a relay with a time delay and was thinking of fitting this to switch it off say 10 sec after starting ...will see what the others come up with.
