True MPG figures

I'm up to 2800 miles now. I'm averaging 58MPG and it seems to be improving with the more miles I do. I've heard that really with a Diesel engine you are looking at the 10Ks of miles before you'll get anywhere near what the manufacturer claims. What I've read in the press recently the manafacturer fi...

New to Nissan and Nervous

MoW,Like the others have mentioned I wouldn't be worried about your decision. I've had my new QQ for approaching 2 months and I'm over the moon with it. I love driving it and its easy to see why its getting so many plaudits in the press. My last car was a BMW 320D and I don't miss it at all and I re...

Paint Protection

I've used the Turtle Wax ICE paste wax on a previous car and it is good stuff. I think with any product like this its often down to personal preference. I personally don't think you can go wrong with Autoglym HD wax. Its easy to apply and remove and lasts for months as long as the car is washed with...

Posh Fuel

Well, I've used the whole tank and overall i personally don't think the car is improved enough to warrant the additional premium for the "ultimate" diesel.I averaged 57.6 MPG over the 618 miles I covered. The car drove well, but it is now on Tesco fuel.

Posh Fuel

I've only had the car for a month and I thought why not as it did make a big difference in my last car. It may well be in my head, but the science behind the "advanced" fuels in terms of cetane rating does mean the fuel burns better so car should be smoother and quieter. As I said I'll rep...

Posh Fuel

I've gone all posh and thought I'd try the new pride and joy with a full tank of BP Ultimate Diesel. It comes at a premium I know at 145p a litre at my local garage, but just after pay day I was feeling frivolous. The difference to driving with my last car was surprising. (BMW 320D) Smoother power de...

True MPG figures

I'll do that Donkey. My daily commute is almost entirely a dual carriageway A road so I'm over 60mph almost always.I'll reset it when I fill up tomorrow and see how it goes.

True MPG figures

I've done 1600 miles in my 1.5dci Acenta Premium. I've averaged 55MPG over the entire distance. It does seem to be improving with time. I'm getting between 57MPG and 60MPG on my 32 mile trip to work.Economy is a big thing for me with me 64 mile round trip daily commute. I'd be very happy if I could ...

Sad to say - it's buggy

Both myself and brother have QQ 1.5dci accenta premiums and both have buggy connect systems. The sound not working on the headunit is a common one. Doesn't matter which source, it just stops and only by turning off the engine and leaving it for a while and going back is it rectified. Hopefully this ...
