Got my car back from the dealers today regarding creaking front suspension. I was told that cause were dry sway bar (anti-roll) bar bushes which were removed, lubricated and replaced.
Car is driving like new again so fingers crossed it stays that way.

Re: Dual Action Polisher on Storm White Paint
So you've done it before. What are you worried about? Yeah mine is orange peely too and a fair few surface imperfections that dried into the paint at application. Not the best paint I've seen on a new car. You wont fix that with a polish. -Give it a good clean. -Mid grade Clay to take off the surfac...

Re: Dual Action Polisher on Storm White Paint
I cant see why you couldn't if you're confident on the machine. Being a DA, it should be safer and depending on the grade of polish you should be ok. If you don't mind me asking, why are you polishing? Paint correction? I machine WAX mine quarterly, have spot machine POLISHED on occasion without har...

Re: OEM audio system upgrade
I have it running at +9dB at the low end rolling off to flat at 160 through to about 3k (+/- a couple of dB for tuning) then rolling off again to -6dB at 20k. Its still a bit "hot" up top but its a work in progress. The Mosconi has been a good unit in my case as I only need 80w per channel...

Re: OEM audio system upgrade
A little bigger would be nicer but the enclosure came close enough. Manufacturer recommendations were 10L and 15L (sealed) for this 8".
Final volume for my enclosure is 19L net, a bit over 1L short of an "ideal" Qtc 0.707 enclosure.

Thanks for the welcome and for the vids
I haven't used self parking yet as I consider myself an efficient and competent reverse parker but it is a shame that autonomous emergency braking isn't a feature in the Australian Qashqai

Re: Front suspension noise
My car is intermittently having this issue. Its is only 6 months old with just over 8,000km on the clock. Its sounds like dry bushes or something like that in the front end and in my case tends to happen after periods of hot weather and almost always when going slowly over speed humps or when hittin...

Re: OEM audio system upgrade
One last step Now with the physical install completed it was time to setup the amp and hit the laptop. After setting the gains and hours upon hours of manipulating what the DSP in the MOSCONI had to offer, all I can say is WOW! Rich, clear, powerful sound with artists seemingly performing for you fr...

Re: OEM audio system upgrade
Front stage In order to install the front door speakers I needed new baffles but instead of making new ones out of MDF I chose to use aftermarket plastic ones. They felt a bit light so to add mass to them I covered as much as I could with Dynamat. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/OzzySRi/15.%2...
