Hi guys,
I've owned a considerable amount of Nissan vehicles over the years and the heated rear screens have always automatically switched themselves off after about 15 minutes?
Not so on my Qashqai 1.5 Tekna, it will stay on all day if you chose to!
Is this correct or is mine faulty?

Re: Windscreen Replacement
Autoglass replaced my windscreen earlier this year, they were very good and everything was re-calibrated spot-on as it was done at one of their calibration centres, but I noticed afterwards that the screen they fitted (heated) was not a genuine Nissan screen but a 3rd party replacement. It was done ...

Re: LED Headlights on Tekna
Hi guys, Sorry to resurrect and old topic, I've had the same problem with the headlights on my 2016 Tekna since I've had it, i.e. the low beam seems to be far too high and occasionally oncoming vehicles will flash their headlights at me. As to the auto-levelling I don't know whether this works or no...

Re: AC Problem
When I collected the car and asked about the warranty on the new condenser they said it was only covered until the end of the vehicle's warranty (i.e. January 2019), but had I contributed towards the cost of the work I would have received a full 12 months warranty. I'm not sure how much of a 'contri...

Re: Harsh ride on Qashqai in inner city roads.
I have 19” tyres on my Tekna and I find them very uncomfortable except on better road surfaces. Before buying the Tekna I road tested an N Connecta model with 18” tyres and it was noticeably a smoother ride.
As Gel has suggested, perhaps it’s your tyre pressures?

Re: AC Problem
The condenser was finally replaced last week (nicely co-inciding with the end of the hot weather), so everything is working fine now.
I didn’t realise that any warranty work carried out is only guaranteed until the end of the warranty period so if it fails again after January 2019 I’m stuffed.

Re: AC Problem
The fact that the condenser has become 'porous' is not down to mechanical breakdown or faulty workmanship it's an issue with the material itself and as such I imagine it could well be from a faulty batch from a particular supplier. As Gloucester has said earlier, recalls are more in relation to pote...

Yes, they are a very popular car!
We went for the Bronze Metallic colour which is still popular but not as much as the other colours out there.

Re: AC Problem
Going by this thread alone they must be ordering these condensers on a regular basis.
It seems like either they had a bad batch or they’re all like it and in time will all fail at some point or other, if so should it have been a vehicle recall item?

Re: AC Problem
Hi Dave, yeah I understand they have to follow certain procedures and protocol, but known problematic parts like these condensers aren’t going to be sitting on the shelves for very long, even if they only kept 1 or 2 in stock.
