Re: Start stop battery coding

I had to change my battery after I couldn't start one morning. I was informed by the local trusted factors that I needed a special stop start battery at a cost of gulp £200. Wow, I said was it really necessary. He said if you don't you will have electrical problems. Well I must say I have been havin...

Re: Dashcams

I fitted mine a few years ago but wired it directly to the fuse box so it only comes on when I start up through an electrical reducer. I can't remember what the reducer is called. I bought it off eBay and it was really cheap. Any egg heads out there that can enlighten me on what it's called. Thanks

I also fitted myself the E prance mini a couple of years ago. Still works fine. About £40 I think it was. Very small.

Re: Wheel bearings

I wouldn't say it was a rubbing sound TBH. More like a rumble. The noise abated slightly when I turned corners taking the weight off that wheel. Your ok as yours is still under warranty.

Cost me £390 and that wasn't main agents. It sounded like a motor boat buzzing away. Seems unusual for a car with suc...

Re: Sat Nav

Simply turn the radio volume switch up as I found out myself, as said whilst the sat nab is talking. You have to be quick.

I also have the E Prance mini. Had it on my old car so took it with me. Fitted it myself.

Re: Stop/start system failure

When you find the problem let me know so I can initiate it. As I hate this feature.

Re: Sat Nav

Yep. Tried it today. You simply turn the volume up when its speaking. It works independently from the radio.
