Re: name good dealers please
I have had occasion to take my QQ into Westway at Basingstoke a few times and have always found them friendly and efficient.

Re: sat nav
Same for me johnboy. Got my new card from France just after Christmas. Hopelessly out of date, roads that altered nearby 12-18 months ago still shown in their original state. I emailed Nissan to query if I had been sent the latest map. This was their response:- Thank you for contacting Nissan Custom...

Re: Turbo issue
Mine had a whining noise on acceleration pretty much from the time I picked it up new. It never affected performance. I took it back to Westway and they told me it wasn't a problem but to come back if it got worse. I went back a couple of months later and they agreed to replace the noisy turbo. I gu...

Re: Tekna Wheels - "White Worms"
I also have this white worm on a couple of wheels. I haven't spoken to Nissan or the dealer yet as I have alloygators and am wondering if having them would go against any potential claim?
If I were to remove the alloygators would there be any sign of them having been fitted?

Re: Wheel bearings
I have the same model and have done just over 15000 miles. I don't have the noise that you describe but do have a sensation of something rubbing towards the front right. I was thinking maybe it could be the start of a wheel bearing problem. Did you notice similar on your car?

The Gun metal does polish up nicely. I love mine and am sure you'll feel the same about yours.

If you told them on ordering that you wanted a 17 plate that is what you should get. I agree with you. Reject or ask for a discount.

Re: Best Diesel Fuel
Interesting thread. With my previous two cars (both diesels), I have mostly used Tesco fuel. With the QQ I have mostly used Shell fuel and every four or five tanks used v power diesel. Did a 650 mile round trip to Newcastle last week and the car performed well. Having read this thread I may do a bit...

Re: Another Gunmetal Grey Tekna owner
Welcome. Hope that your wife is delighted with the surprise and that the QQ gives you as much driving pleasure as mine has given me. The gun metal polishes up a treat. Look forward to seeing some pics. Congrats on the impending arrival (s).
