Re: Phone docking
Why not put your phone in centre console connected by Bluetooth then no need for anything on show, just a thought. I think it depends what you want to do with the phone. E.g. The TomTom Go app on my phone is better than the built in navigation, particularly regarding traffic (and map) updates. I'm ...

Re: What Engine, am I making the right choice?
I have a 1.6 DIG-T and am very happy with it. My usage is similar to yours - during the week there are a lot of short journeys - 2 or 3 miles at a time, then longer at weekends. We went for petrol rather than diesel because I was concerned about the DPF with our limited usage. The QQ is still very n...

Re: Phone docking
This doesn't offer anything in the way of power connectivity, but the "Breffo Spiderpod" fits nicely into the centre air vent and just pulls out and stores in the centre armrest when not being used. It's slightly Heath-Robinson in the way you grip the phone but it works OK for me with a Ne...

Re: Sat Nav all over the place
That's good news. I did 250 miles in the last 3 days (which is a lot for me!) about 50% navigating and 50% just with the map display on. Perfect all of the time, so it does look like this has cracked the problem

Re: Cannot set satnav when moving?!
P.S. If you go into the hidden menu (hold down setup, twist right hand knob anticlockwise from 12 o'clock to 9 o'clock then clockwise to 3 o'clock then back to 9 o'clock) you can see how many satellites the system is locked onto plus various other bits of system information. May help you work out wh...

Re: Cannot set satnav when moving?!
Following a reload of the firmware (as mentioned on this thread viewtopic.php?f=29&t=3993 ) mine now works well. Destination can be set when either stationary or driving and both work fine.
I would have a word with your dealer and see what they think.

Re: Sat Nav all over the place
Good news - glad to hear yours is (hopefully) sorted now. Mine continues to work perfectly since the reinstall so it seems to have done the trick.

Re: Sat Nav all over the place
I don't suppose you know who your dealership spoke to at Nissan so I can point mine in the same direction do you? I don't I'm afraid. All I know is that fortunately Sod's Law didn't operate for once and the SatNav wasn't working when I took it in. The dealer gathered some diagnostics and did a bit ...

Re: Sat Nav all over the place
Apparently the firmware file took ages to download from Nissan, but actually plugging it into the car and doing the re-flash took about an hour so it's feasible for it to be done while you wait. If you're busy that's probably not particularly helpful anyway!

Re: Sat Nav all over the place
Yes, all good. Yesterday and today have added up to a dozen short journeys which were all perfect. I'll be in the car everyday this week but I doubt anything will be longer than 5 miles at a time I'll report back if I hit problems.... Phone is re-paired on bluetooth and working. How are you doing? A...
