Re: Nissan will make the next Qashqai and XTrail in Sunderla

I agree with what you are saying Dave! The only thing I would add is that there is too much negativity around in general and this can sometimes not be backed up with correct facts. This is not a dig at anyone in particular on this thread, but just a helicopter view! Positive comments should be share...

Re: Nissan will make the next Qashqai and XTrail in Sunderla

Can I just ask what year and model of QQ people have commenting on here? I hear a lot of negative comments about the car and yet, I've had a few of them and never had problems. I only keep them from new up to 18 months old, but in saying that, the new version since 2013 has been excellent!

Re: Hello and please help.

Hi Jerry, I feel your pain, the world is full of these idiots! Accidents obviously happen but I tend to try and avoid parking near cars who look like they are not looked after by the owners and then head for the parent and child parking spaces where possible..

Re: Newbie with Engine choice dilemma!

Yep, you are correct! Not sure on your budget but worth looking around at the finance deals available to see if you can stretch to a new model. Plus, the car will be in warranty then, unless you can get one with an extended one...

Re: Newbie with Engine choice dilemma!

Baker69, you can't go wrong with the N Tec, so if money restricts you to that option, you will be happy but certainly worth looking at the Tekna option. One extra you get, which is great at this time of year, is the thermoclear heated windscreen, cleared that in under 5 minutes this morning and it w...

Re: Newbie with Engine choice dilemma!

Just picking up on Daewar's comment, gotta agree with the comparison between the 1.5 DCI and 1.6DCi, although whilst the car will feel slower with more luggage (any car will be the same), the latter still performs well due to the 243 torque! Although, having drove a 2.5 litre RSQ3 and a 3 litre SQ5,...

Re: Newbie with Engine choice dilemma!

Again, to help, I've had the N Tec and the Tekna (currently have this). Definitely the latter if you can afford it and you won't look back from there. So many gadgets, absolutely fantastic! What colour are you thinking of and are you buying from new? I have the gun metal grey, the best for me, then ...

Re: Newbie with Engine choice dilemma!

Hi Baker69. I have had both engines and currently have the 1.6 DCI X Tronic. The 1.5 engine is more economical, but the engine felt a bit underpowered for me, and I got fed up with a manual transmission. The 1.6 engine is much better, bigger, more powerful and more torgue. People will argue differen...
