Re: My 2yr old ...
Hi Robaroo, Dave. I have a 2015 QQ with the 19" alloys, as per Dave's car. They look great (actually better looking than the top-of-the-range alloys on the latest QQ...) but with the low profile tyres, the ride is pretty firm, especially on some of the roads here in SA. I have a 16" black ...

Re: Rear fog light
Hi Folks. I fell in to the same "trap" as DIM4762. Shortly after buying my QQ in 2015, I noticed that only the rear fog light on the driver's side was working. I tried - in vain - to remove the internal panel to change the bulb, but gave up for fear of breaking something. The first service...

Re: newbie just got tekna 1.5
There is a reference in my handbook about parking the wipers half way up the screen to change the wiper blades, but it says "where fitted".... I tried this on my own car when I forst got it but could not get it to work. I assumed that it was "not fitted". I mentioned this to the ...

Air-conditioning malfunction
I would expect the A/C light to come on when I hit the Auto button (as it does on my Renault Megane), but it does not. I have to manually turn on the A/C via the button, before the Auto function manages the A/C. Not good. However, the A/C does kick in when I hit the front defogger button....

I have Continental ContiSportContact5, 225/45 R19W on my new car. Must say that the tread depth from NEW is not great...so may be a contributing factor to longevity. I got about 70,000 km from the first set of tyres on my Renault Megane (the chief mechanic could not believe it!) which indicates my d...

My diesel CVT, which I have had for only about 6 weeks, does the same as Andrew's. It may be different in the manual versions because most auto box cars tend to "creep" with the engine running in Drive mode, unless you keep a firm foot on the brake. I find that the time taken for the engin...

Hi Folks,Took delivery of my new QQ about a month ago - it's a 1.6dCi CVT Acenta Techno, etc, etc, in white. I love it, and there ain't too many of the new models on the roads here in SA yet (plenty of the older models though), so a bit exclusive at the moment! Can't find any similar forums (or is t...
