Re: Sat nav screen visibilty
Thanks everyone . I have tried your suggestion gvmdaddy re brightness and that is an improvement, but the best improvement was clearly to close the roof. I have never ever done this and so used to the panoramic roof I had completely forgotten that the sun pelts in overhead. How daft is that!

Sat nav screen visibilty
This may be a very stupid question. I have just driven all the way round north Devon on minor roads in the sun ( yesterday) and have been unable to see anything at all on the screen. Clearly I can see in front of me on the mini screen whether to turn right left and when, but I have not had a car wit...

Re: 1.2 DigT or 1.5 dci?
I love my 1.2 x tronic. Have had super oomph cars in past but I do city living and there is no point to accelerating to 20 mph! Great on the M4 - again no sweat as on M25 et al what is the point?? Goes up steep hills and I do realise there is no oomph there but it is an auto and really not a problem...

Re: Awaiting new QQ 1.2 DIG-T TEKNA
I have had mine now since 2014. I love it to death. I did have teething probs with a leaking windsceen, superbly fixed by both my dealer and nissan, and have had none of the cvt and other probs detailed by people unfortunate to have had those.. I love my car... I loved my nissan cherry turbo! I love...

Re: Newbie.
I have had my auto teckna 1.2 for a year and it has just had its first service. Before that, because of this forum, I was checking oil every other week. It didnt seem to use any and the oil still seemed very clear. There may be a few rogues and it is worth checking oil for peace of mind. I still fee...

I use hands free a lot and at speed on motorway/ in city noise and it is always crystal clear so I think this is a dealer issue too.

Re: Opening car with key in pocket
Yep> I have done this too- dropped husband off with car running- he had keys in pocket, having opened car and loaded hound, lots of bleeping as we were unloading stuff- drove off (concentrating on traffic turning not any no key indicator as never saw it somehow), to take dog for nice walk in the cou...
