Yes I have. Thanks for the tip.
PS: I got my cam-belt and water pump changed at a local garage (in Bury) for £265 - much cheaper than Nissan's price.

Re: Air Con Service
I was told by ATS that the J11 QQ uses a gas that should last for 4 years. They added that Nissan generally recharges the gas as part of the third annual service. (I got 3 years free servicing when I bought my QQ & the air-con was recharged as part of that service). My QQ will be 5 years old in ...

Re: Outdated Sat Nav Mapping
Looks like I have started something :-) I have just been quoted £150 (including VAT) from a Nissan dealership in the UK. Part # 259204EA0C. The parts guy checked it against my chassis number over the phone just to be sure. Duncho: The QQ J11 I have is a Connect 2. You have quoted a sd card for the C...

Re: Outdated Sat Nav Mapping
OK thanks, bit far for me to nip over
I have rechecked the price of €484 quoted by my dealer
I think he made a typo. The € symbol is on the # 4 key so he must have meant €84 which is probably ex-vat.
Adding 23% VAT comes to €103.32 which is more realistic.

Re: Outdated Sat Nav Mapping
Before Duncho accuses me of constantly checking for Sat Nav Map updates (which I have not been) I have rechecked the following link; http://nissan.navigation.com/en_GB/NissanEMEA/EUR?Country=IE&Language=en_GB& If you enter the car as Qashqai and year as 2014 you get the following response &q...

Re: IRELAND: Thinking of buying a new Qashqai? Read this fir
Neild1701: I have seen the blog as I live in Ireland. Nothing he says would stop me buying a QQ. Maybe he should learn how to use an electronic handbrake correctly. As far as Stop/Start goes I had the same issue. Nothing to do with software - it was due to the charge level of the battery.

Re: Outdated Sat Nav Mapping
Duncho: "Have you been constantly checking the status of update availability?"
No, I had given up on an update being made available a long time ago. I only checked yesterday as I was bored.

Re: Outdated Sat Nav Mapping
Just a thought. Since tablets are capable of playing movies etc would it be illegal to position them within the driver's sight?
